Dr Vladimir Trajkovski was born in Skopje in 1968. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation. He is a graduate of the Skopje Faculty of Medicine in 1994, where he later obtained his M.Sc. (1999). He obtained PhD degrees in 2002 on the Faculty of Philosophy. He is the president of Macedonian Scientific Society for Autism and organizer of first international student’s special educational seminar in 1999. He introduced subject Autism in the postgraduate curricula at the Faculty of Philosophy. His research interest is genetic and physiological aspects of autism spectrum disorders, but he has also published in the fields of human genetics and medical basis of disability.  He was former editor of the Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation. He became head of educational-scientific board of postgraduate studies at Institute of Special Education and Rehabilitation in October 2009. He is an active member of the Autism Europe, member of the European Association of Service Providers for People with disabilities, member of the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual Disabilities. He is a consulting editor for Journal of Policy and Practice in Intellectual Disabilities, associate editor for Bulgarian Journal of Communication Disorders, associate editor for Croatian Review of Rehabilitation Research. He takes a part in international projects such as: “Tolerance and Acceptance” by EASPD, “Europe is a place to live” by EASPD, “In FOCUS” by TEMPUS programme, “Common voice network project” by Hand in Hand. He has about 55 articles published in domestic and international journals.

Olivera Rashikj was born in Skopje in 1984. She is the Technical secretary of the Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation. She is a graduate of the Skopje Faculty of Philosophy, Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation in 2006, where she later obtained her M.Sc. (2009). She is member of the Commission for professional accomplishment and organization of the scientific meetings of Macedonian Association of Special Educators and Rehabilitates. She works as proctor-demonstrator providing exercises of physiology and functional anatomy and of methodic of working with persons with physical impairments. In 2005 year she participated in an European TEMPUS InFOCUS-project of student exchange in Germany and Netherlands, also participated in 3-days Workshop for Human Interaction in Arnhem, Netherlands. In 2007 she participated at The Second International Congress of Students of Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, also participated at the seminar for educating the volunteers for Special Olympics trainers. In 2008 she was member of the organization board (contact person) at the time of organization of the international conference because of “15 years of existence of the Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Philosophy-Skopje”.

Ana Petkovska was born in Kumanovo in 1985. From September 2012 she is the new Technical secretary of the Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation. She has graduated in Skopje at Faculty of Philosophy, Institute for Special Education and Rehabilitation in 2008. After her graduation she continues her postgraduate studies in Skopje majoring Mental Retardation and Autism. From December 2011 she is Secretary in Macedonian Scientific Society for Autism. From September 2011 she is President of the Commission for the employment of special education teachers in Association of special educators and rehabilitators of Republic of Macedonia.

Blazej Atanasovski is born in Skopje, 1983. He finished high school in Rade Jovcevski Korcagin. His working experience consist of tech support – field technician at Unet – ISP (Skopje, MK), ECS (Ware, UK) and as system administrator at the Faculty of Philosophy (Skopje, MK). He is responsible for designing and uploading data to JSER Online.

 

 

 

 


Ljubica Sevdinska - Macedonian language lecturer, Retired Macedonian language professor

Ljubica Sevdinska was born in the village of Slavej, Prilep area, on 4 December 1947. She finished primary and secondary school as well as Pedagogical Academy in Bitola and graduated from the Faculty of Philology “Blazhe Koneski”, Department for Macedonian language and Yugoslav literature in Skopje in 1991. Apart from her 36-year work in the educational area in primary school, for more than 30 years she has been lecturing different magazines, student’s books, art literature and specialized papers. She has reviewed a number of Macedonian language student’s books. She is a member of the Committee for preparation of curricula in Macedonian language and a member of the Committee for selection of student’s books (Ministry of Education and Science), a member of the executive committee of the Union of associations for Macedonian language and so on. She is author of Macedonian language student’s books for third and fourth grade for nine-year primary education.

Slavica Todorova was born on 07 January, 1974 in Skopje. She has finished elementary and secondary school in her birth place. In 1997 she graduated at the Faculty of Philology “Blazhe Koneski” in Skopje, and in 1999 she finished one year studies at the Institute of Special Education and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Philosophy. She works as a teacher in the Special primary school “Idnina”. She is a lector, translator of many books, master’s and doctoral writings from many different areas.

Aleksandra Petkovska Anastasov was born on 23 August, 1984 in Skopje. She has finished elementary and secondary school in her birth place. In 2007 she graduated at the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski” in Skopje at the Department of English Language and Literature. She stayed in the USA for 6 months, from 06-12.2006. She works as an English teacher in the primary school “Krum Toshev”. She is also a translator of many books, master’s and doctoral writings from many different areas.

Ivan Mishev was born in Kocani in 1986. He is a web administrator for the Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation. He graduated in 2005 at SOU "Goso Vikentiev", Kocani. He finished all courses for IT System Administrator at "Alexandria", Skopje  which include 13 certificates issued from Microsoft, CompTIA and Cisco. He works as a freelance Web Designer and has worked on 15+ web projects.
